My name is Ahmed El Shahawy from Egypt. I'm 23 years old and I'm very passionate about languages in terms of learning and teaching. I chose the German language because I hold a Goethe Institute certificate in German language at level C2, and also in Latin at the same level. I recently obtained a certificate confirming my achievement of this level. Lastly, among my academic hobbies are learning various teaching methods and self-improvement, which includes refining myself and those I teach. As for my recreational hobbies, I enjoy football and hiking.
I have previously worked in teaching German, but I have never taught Latin before. However, I am confident in my ability to teach it just like German. I have already taught more than six individuals who wanted to learn German as a second language, and they have successfully become fluent speakers. The expected duration is from five to seven months depending on the level, ability, and responsiveness. As mentioned earlier, I hold a Goethe Institute C2 certificate. Additionally, I have a diploma in Latin, equivalent to C2 level proficiency.
When students come to my classes, they generally expect a supportive and motivating learning environment where they can learn the language in a fun and effective way. I always strive to provide this environment by allocating time to understand the students' needs and guiding them based on their current level and personal goals. I specifically focus on delivering interactive lessons that encourage active participation and the application of language skills in real-life contexts.
What expected from me is to deliver customized and effective educational lessons in the Latin or German language, as well as providing individual support to each student and motivating them to speak the language confidently and fluently.
