Hello, my name is Boikhutso but you can call me Bee, i live in South Africa. I am currently a fourth and final year student at University obtaining my Bachelor's degree in Education teaching in the Foundation Phase. I am 30 years old. My hobbies are swimming, cooking, listening to music, reading and travelling.
With four years of valuable teaching experience under my belt, I have had the privilege of nurturing young minds in subjects such as English, Sepedi (my home language), mathematics, and life skills. During my teaching practical practice, I worked with 6 to 10-year-olds, helping them develop essential skills and knowledge for their academic and personal growth. I have also provided extra English lessons for older children, tailoring my approach to meet their unique learning needs. I have completed and obtained a 120-hour TEFL certificate.
I understand that every student is unique, so I will tailor my lessons to meet each student's specific goals, whether it's improving conversational, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and any other English language objective. I will focus on clear and effective communication, helping students improve their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. I'll provide activities for students to practice speaking and understanding English. My lessons will emphasize practical application, encouraging students to use English in real-life situations. We'll engage in discussions, and simulations to boost conversational confidence. I will use a variety of resources, including textbooks, videos, and interactive online tools to make lessons engaging and informative. Learning a new language can be challenging, so I aim to create a friendly and supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Constructive feedback is essential for improvement.
