Hi, I'm Motheba. I am a certified tutor with 5+ years of teaching experience in formal settings and online. My expertise extends to laboratory technician, demonstrator/tutor, and chemistry teachers (coursework and research). I have worked with secondary, high school, and college students from different ethnic backgrounds. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, researching, watching movies and TV shows, exercising, and drinking tea. Currently, I am doing my MSc in Inorganic Chemistry. I have a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry. I have a 120-Hour TEFL certificate. Throughout my professional career, I have amassed a total of 8 years of experience, with 5 years in a formal setting and an additional 3 years in an informal setting. I utilize teaching methods that are known for their energy and are specifically tailored to empower students, giving them more control and advantages in their learning experiences. These methods not only engage students but also provide a fun, interesting, relaxing, and enjoyable learning environment. I ensure that students feel comfortable asking questions and encourage them to work diligently and carefully, even when faced with challenging material. Additionally, I prioritize the timely completion of assignments. When it comes to feedback, I prefer using a delegated teaching method whenever possible, although I am not limited to it. Among my previous students, some have graduated while others consistently achieve their desired school and job placements.
