My name is Dgi, I am 27 years old, and I have been an English teacher for four years. I learned English on my own, which has given me a unique understanding of the challenges students face when learning a new language. I had been teaching English for 3 years before I moved to the USA, and during my exchange program, I obtained my TEFL certification. I am currently in the final semester of my degree in Letras, where I continue to enhance my pedagogical and linguistic skills to provide the best possible learning experience for my students. Eu já ensinava inglês há 3 anos antes de me mudar para os EUA, e durante meu programa de intercâmbio, obtive a certificação TEFL. Atualmente, estou no último semestre da minha graduação em Letras, onde continuo aprimorando minhas habilidades pedagógicas. I have been an English teacher since 2019, focusing on practical, student-centered conversation classes. My teaching methodology prioritizes communication in real-life situations, helping students develop fluency and confidence in speaking English. I hold a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, which I obtained during my exchange program in the United States, qualifying me to teach English as a second language to non-native speakers. In addition to my certification, I am currently in the final semester of my degree in Letras, which has broadened my understanding of language acquisition and pedagogy. My expertise lies in teaching English to students at various proficiency levels, addressing grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, always with an emphasis on practical communication.
