Mia Liu

I'm teacher Mia. I live in Nanjing China. I am a Chinese native speaker. I love traveling, doing yoga, watching movies and Kpop. My major is English teaching and got my teaching certificate during university. I have been teaching online for 3 years. Right now, I am teaching Chinese students English meanwhile teaching US students Mandarin online. I have taught more than 300 students aged from 4 to 18 and also some adults students. I maintain a friendly, fun, understanding, empathetic, relaxed partnership with my learners, and work together to provide regular feedback, assessment and evaluation so learners always know where they are in their learning and what the next steps are. I am calm, encouraging. l love meeting new people, exploring new places and learning about other cultures and traditions. I fully understand the challenges and barriers to learning that students face. I look forward to helping and supporting learners to reach their learning goals, gain confidence, and have fun.
