Hello everyone 😊 I am Lebogang but feel free to call me teacher L . I am 25 years of age and I live in a beautiful country called South Africa. I love reading and hitch hiking when I get the time, professionally I am an accredited TEFL teacher who is a native English speaker. I aim to develop the ability in students to use English in day to day life and real life situations. Teach functional English to the students that the students can use and benefit from in their educational career, professional career and everyday life. Also aim to make the students understand the written text of the subject that is being taught and make the students able to use skimming scanning skills. As an English teacher I sometimes use different language teaching methodologies to achieve the objectives of English language teaching.
I have worked with a company called Amazing Talker, worked there for a good year from 2023 till date.. Before then I have been doing private English, mathematics and physical science lessons privately.
Prepared and delivered lessons to improve students' reading, writing, and conversing skills.
-Developed educational content such as notes and quizzes.
-Managed interpersonal dynamics to ensure that the class is conducive
In most cases I use the PPP method to introduce new vocabulary and concepts to students.
°The Demonstration Method
I use demonstration technique as a teaching approach in which I must demonstrate something or execute an operation for the learner to comprehend profoundly and completely. I could be using anything from the operation of a tool or piece of equipment to teaching troubleshooting to completing a specific job or operation.
°Interactive Method
It is a form of teaching style that is seen to be useful to both students and teachers. My role is to convey the main points or the importance of using the interactive or participatory approach in general during class so that students do not oppose. This teaching approach employs a variety of tactics, including writing assignments, pair work, discussion, problem-based learning, and situation analysis.
