Hi everyone! My name is Katie and I am 23 years old currently teaching at a high school and elementary school in Milan, Italy; next year, I will do the same as a Fulbright scholar in Fürth, Germany. However, I am actually from a small town in the United States in Connecticut, close to New York City. Outside of my passion for language, I love to practice jazz and modern dance as well as music, specifically voice. Academically, I also really enjoy studying politics and human rights, and I hope one day to be a diplomat! I have experience with all levels of English speakers! I have teaching experience within university, as a teaching assistant for Italian and German, and also as an ESL teacher in Italian public and private schools. I also tutor people in English, German a Book a lesson with me to learn from someone with a true east-coast American accent! I encourage you to make mistakes so that I can help you improve as much as possible. I am a very empathetic person with great patience, and I love to hear from people with different perspectives, experiences and lives from my own. I offer both structured lessons to improve vocabulary and grammar and more informal conversational classes to improve pronunciation and intonation. I look forward to talking with you soon!
