Hello I am tutor Gen I am a native English speaker from South Africa. I am passionate about helping and teaching people. Knowing that I had a hand in helping someone grow and learn something new makes me happy to have a impact on someones life it gives me a sense fulfullment and a higher purpose. I continuously improve my own skills to ensure I am adequately qualified. I am a kind hearted individual who has a empathetic and attentive ear leading to great communication and conflict resolution. I have a eye for the finer details combined with my natural instinct to plan ahead to be ready to perform at my best, whilst been capable to come up with solutions without having time to plan ahead. I'm passionate about expressing creativity and the benefits it has and I explore this in multiple ways such as painting, music, cooking, fashion and playing games.I plan my lessons to be centered around the students and their individual and collective needs to promote engagement within the lesson. I am a new teacher but I do have the qualifications to teach students effectively I am excited to meet new students and help them learn about how exciting and fun it is to learn a new language or to help improve their language so that they may become fluent in the language. I cater my lessons to my students needs I know that not all students are the same when it comes to learning some students may need visual aids to help them learn. I plan on using visual aids during my lessons to help cater to these students needs. I can either make them or use the posters, flashcards that I have to help the student. I plan on also using total physical response also known as TPR so I will use my hands to try make it easier for a student to understand what I am teaching them. I will also use a natural approach and everyday experiences to help students familiarize themselves with the language and using everyday experiences will help a student to remeber what they are learning within the lesson. These are just a few teaching styles that I plan on using in my lessons.
