Teacher Erica

My name is Erica Digby and I was born in the Transkei (Umtata), Eastern Cape, South Africa. My hobbies are gardening, nature hiking, kayaking, walks on the beach with my fur baby (dog), volunteering, wherever I can help out. Cooking is my favourite. My personality, I would describe as, adventurous, balanced, creative, energetic, observant, positive, helpful, respectful, patient and honest. I enjoy different flavours of food, Asian, Mexican, Italian, Indian and seafoods. I have completed my Creche Management Proficiency, Diploma in Pre & Primary teaching, First Aid-save a child, Business English, TEFL 120Hours, N4 Business studies (Introductory Communications, Introductory Computer, Introductory Entrepreneurship, Introductory marketing. Busy with my Child psychology I am a hybrid and demonstrator. Iike to increase my students engagement and incorporate many teaching formats for different characters. My style of teaching is, VISUAL (seeing images), AUDITORY(listening to stories), TACTILE (tracing pictures), KINESTHETIC (body movements), VERBAL (learn by talking), RHYTHMIC/MELODIC (songs), for the younger generation and I use the 4 A's for adults. ACTIVITY, ANALYSIS, ABSTRACTION and APPLICATION.
