Hello! My name is Mishka I’m all about making learning an adventure! With years of teaching experience, I thrive on sparking curiosity and creativity in my students. I love using hands-on activities and engaging discussions to make lessons memorable. When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll find me diving into a good book, exploring the great outdoors on a hike, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I believe that learning should be as exciting as any adventure, and I aim to bring that energy into everything I do! I have one year of teaching English, where I focused on developing students’ reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. I have a TEFL certification and have participated in professional development. My approach emphasizes student engagement through interactive activities, discussions, and project-based learning. I aim to create a supportive classroom environment that encourages students to express themselves and develop a love for literature. My teaching style is all about making learning fun and engaging. I like to turn lessons into games, using challenges and little competitions to keep things exciting. I love adding storytelling elements—like creating characters or plots that help bring the topic to life. I also enjoy setting up interactive stations, so kids can move around, explore, and learn hands-on. Adding in arts, drama, and music makes the lessons even more creative and memorable. Plus, I like to have students "teach-back" what they've learned to reinforce their understanding and build confidence. My goal is to make every day in the classroom an adventure in learning!
