I am a 19 year old female from South Africa. I am currently a second year Biomedicine Student at Eduvos University. I spend most of my time reading Self-improvement and entrepreneur books when I'm not working. I am fun person who enjoys trying out new things with family and friends. I love taking pictures, videos and journaling as to create a lifetime of memories. I have been a contact tutor for the past 3 years. I have tutored high school student Biology, Mathematics and English. I began ESL/Online English teaching 8 months ago. I have a 120hr TEFL Certificate and I am working on improving and adding on to my expe During my trial lessons, I make sure that the student interact and communicate so that I can have a idea of their English knowledge as that will guide me on where to begin so we can set realistic goals and milestones. I teach my student grammar, pronunciation of basic English words and how to structure English sentences correctly. I use more fun role play activities for the younger students to keep them focused and looking forward to class. I provide extra learning materials and homework to make it easier for both the student and I in identifying any obstacles or improvement. I always give feedback so students can feel motivated to do more. I accept suggestions students might have regarding the teaching strategies.
