Teri Ann Robinson

I am from Cape Town, South Africa and I am 29 years old. My passions are teaching English and listening to music. My hobbies are reading - I am quite the bookworm - creative writing and drawing. My English teaching journey started when I was 16, where I learnt under my mentor how to teach children on the autism spectrum how to read and write. Throughout the years I gained experience teaching both mainstream learners and learners on the spectrum how to read, write and speak English. I have taught from all ages 5+ including adults. My online teaching journey started during COVID and I have been teaching online ever since. I have two 120 hour TEFL certificates and have been teaching English to students from all over the world. I am a very flexible teacher, that means all students are welcome in my classroom, no matter their age, background, proficiency level or learning goals. When it comes to my teaching approach, I like to tailor my lessons to suit each student's individual needs. My lessons will always be engaging. As a creative person, I will always encourage my students to use their imagination and unlock their creativity in order to reach their full English proficiency potential.
