Hello, my name is Miki and I am excited to be your teacher this year. I have been teaching English for four years and am passionate about helping students learn and grow. I enjoy reading books, watching movies, exercising, meditating, etc.
I believe that my greatest strengths as a teacher include my ability to connect with students and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. I understand that every student is unique, and I work to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners. I also have a strong understanding of the curriculum and use various teaching strategies to make learning engaging and interactive for my students. I am also highly organized and able to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with the state standards and curriculum.

I strive to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel safe to take risks and learn from their mistakes. I use a variety of teaching methods such as hands-on activities, group work, and technology integration to engage my students and make the learning experience more interactive. I also provide students with regular feedback and one-on-one support to ensure that they are making progress and understanding the material. I use formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning and to inform my instruction.
