My name is Carmen.
• I live in Austin, TX but I am from Argentina. 🇦🇷
• I am an interpreter in musical theater, a Yoga teacher and a Spanish teacher. 💃
I have been working in a school since 10 years, where I discovered how transformative education is as well as the cultural exchanges that can be generated. All these exchanges are what make us grow and strengthen humanity. 📚
- I focus on the needs of the students, I am very observant and reflective.
- I try to generate a climate of trust to be able to ask questions, have fun and learn as much as possible.
- I like that students are the protagonists of their learning and can share their tastes, interests for the classes.
My lessons & teaching style
• The classes will be dynamic and fun
• I'll emphasize the grammatical, functional and vocabulary content depending on the level that each student handles.
• We'll work on topics that are interesting and everyday for them; on many occasions they'll be part of the choice of the thematic axis.
• The idea's to acquire the content as the classes go by and to generate a more spontaneous conversation.
If after 10 minutes into the class you do not connect, I consider that the class must be rescheduled. Please let me know if you will be absent so that another student can take advantage of that time!
