Hello! My name is Sam, and I’m from the vibrant and diverse country of South Africa. At 26 years old, I bring a blend of youthful enthusiasm and professional experience to my teaching practice. I have a bachelor’s degree in Genetics, a 120-hour TEFL certificate, and over two years of experience in online teaching.
Outside of teaching, I have a deep passion for hiking, reading, and personal development. These hobbies not only enrich my life but also influence my teaching style, as I believe in a holistic approach to learning. I’m committed to creating a student-oriented environment where each learner’s unique needs and goals are prioritized.
My approach is tailored to cater to individual learning styles, making lessons engaging and effective. I look forward to the opportunity to help students achieve their language goals and develop their skills in a supportive and interactive setting.
Over the past two years, I have taught English on platforms such as Preply and Native Camp. My teaching experience spans a diverse range of students, from young learners as young as 6 to adults up to 65 years old. I have worked with students across all proficiency levels, from A1 to C1.
This broad experience has allowed me to develop a versatile teaching style that can adapt to the unique needs of each student, whether they are beginners or advanced learners. My goal is always to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that helps each student achieve their personal language goals.
In my lessons, students can expect a personalized and engaging learning experience. I tailor content to meet individual needs, focusing on areas such as grammar, vocabulary, and speaking fluency. Lessons include interactive activities, practical language use, and continuous feedback. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to improve and apply their skills confidently.
