Hi, I'm Sarah from Lagos, Nigeria, a certified ESL teacher who also holds a first degree in Microbiology and a PGDE certificate. My desire to share my knowledge with others is fuelled by my love for teaching. For a more seamless experience, I incorporate visual and practical methods. I have a lot of ambition and desire. I continuously create goals for myself because I enjoy challenges, therefore I welcome any chance to improve and excel. I recently won a recognition award as the "Teacher of the Year" at my place of employment. In my spare time, I like to travel, create crafts, read, and listen to podcasts. Football is another sport that I enjoy. I have been teaching English to young learners and adults of different nationalities online for eight years. By including interactive exercises, games, role-playing, and movies, I help my learners enjoy learning. It makes my heart happy to watch learn I use inquiry-based learning to connect concepts to the real world through investigation and learn Has knowledge of how to interact with students of different nationalities. Computer and technology literate. A sound knowledge of the British, American, and Canadian Curricula and capable of implementing curriculum and lesson plans. For my intermediate and advanced learners, I utilize learning materials to retain key vocabulary and phrases better which improved their fluency, confidence level, and the four basic skills of English: listening, speaking, writing, and reading. I present keywords at the start of the lesson and reiterate them as lesson progresses. English for kids I've been teaching English and Math to kids online for seven years. I establish a lively, friendly, and engaging environment that stimulates learning. I adopt and modify techniques and approaches to meet the learning styles of my students by integrating digital tools, games, videos and hands-on activities.
