Thelma

Hello, I'm Thelma ,my students call me Teacher Tee and I'm native English speaker and from Johannesburg South Africa. I love teaching and am very passionate about it. In my free time, I enjoy running, cooking, reading, and going out. Teaching is something I truly enjoy, and I'm excited to share my love for learning with others. I have over eight years of teaching experience, mainly with young children in elementary phase. I hold a Diploma in Grade R Teaching, a Programme in Teaching Certificate, and a 120-hour TEFL/TESOL advanced certificate. My teaching focuses on helping children learn in a fun and caring way. My lessons are fun, interactive, and easy to understand. I use hands-on activities, flashcards, and visual tools to make learning enjoyable. My teaching style is student-centred because I believe the student is the most important part of the lesson. I provide the resources and instruction, but I encourage students to learn by doing, not just by watching. I create a safe space where we can work on listening and speaking, reading, grammar, and vocabulary together. I also like to reward students during each lesson to keep the class fun and interactive.
