Hey, I'm Dan! I consider myself a teacher with a little bit of a twist. :) I come from an in-depth legal background, and as I ventured across all the different business and legal facts, I realized along the way my deep passion for educating and transforming the lives of my students. From law, I became a qualified Native English teacher with a PGCE, and having travelled to over 25 countries and counting, I became not only a free soul looking for myself in this complex beautiful world, but I also began teaching students from various age groups. I saw with my own eyes their fascinating linguistic development, either by guiding them through A1 until fluency, preparing them for exam intensive courses like IELTS and Cambridge or preparing future leaders for interviews and workplace, I helped thousands of students globally excel in their respective fields. With a focus on growth, positivity, and open communication in the classroom. I develop my own curriculum, guiding you every step along the way. With my 8 years of experience, and a thirst for growing my pedagogical and research knowledge, I know confidently that I'm the teacher you've been looking for. Remember, always continue striving forward, and never give up. :-) My subject expertise is the English language, be it for exam or interview preparation, legal or business research, or simply conversational English to help boost your confidence in everyday settings. With my travel experience, I have also reshaped my teaching methodology to incorporate more differentiation and active learning in the classroom, enabling learners of different types to excel and make monumental progress in my classes. Over time, I have worked in examination centers, multiple secondary schools, language centers, and private centers. I currently also run my own private language center in Hong Kong, where I'm based.
