The most fun way to practice conversation skills would be to have a conversation, for example you can give your students a scenario and ask the to have a conversation and correct them where necessary.
I guess it's talking about routine, things that happened to you over the week, or the weekend, or current and interesting topics. Avoid religion, politics and other sensitive topics.
One of must fun way of learning is to Watch TV shows or movies in the language you're learning: This can be a fun way to practice listening skills and pick up new vocabulary. You can also try repeating what the characters say out loud to practice speaking. You can also play language learning games aside from trying to have conversation with those who speak in English. Start testI have a list of questions with things like a place you would to visit, a person who influenced your life, something that made you laugh or cry, a favorite pet. This would be for B1 and up. It gets them to talk and expand vocabulary.
Do some guessing games
In my opinion, I would say roleplay. It's a fun and exciting yet also informative and constructive.
I’d suggest role playing.Students enjoy role playing ,as it keeps them engaged and motivated .It’s a great method of practicing everyday English. Singing is fun too,as it broadens expressive communication :)
Themed conversations are good. Pick themes that are interesting to the specific student.

Role plays! I had a fun one with an eleven-year-old boy the other day, playing that he was the waiter and I was the demanding customer. When it was time to pay he told me, "That will be one million dollars." When I said, "But I ordered only a coffee!" He said, totally relaxed and confident, "It is very good coffee." He then proceeded to call the police because I couldn't come up with the money for the million dollar tab!
Chose a topic that interest the student because a student will learn better if they find it interesting
