Usually, it's best to start with colors, numbers, and animals. Because they're easy to learn and there are lots of interesting videos and worksheets to work on.

Things you can point to in your childs environment + to make it even more beneficial, make a game out of it. Colors, pets, objects. For example, you can keep pointing to things that red and ask your child what color is this? Over and over and over, patience 🌞
Sounds ( phonics) and vocabulary
When children are having fun, they naturally learn. Flashcards are an excellent way to teach and revise vocabulary and there are numerous games you can play with them, including Memory and Kim's Game. The most important thing is that you are enthusiastic and that you encourage and praise the children. Your enthusiasm for the language will be picked up on by the child. Don't be concerned if a child does not begin speaking English right away. They will require some time to absorb the language. Be patient, and they will eventually learn to speak English.

Alphabet letters

I would like for them to sound words as it makes it easier for them to identify hence making it easier for them to read. So if I give them rat, bat and Sat once they know what sounds 'at' makes they will find it easier to name all 3 words.
Kids love to be engaged in activities because they can easily get bored when they are idle. So I will suggest you start with teaching them the letters of the English alphabets, from there proceed to teaching them colours and animals in tune with each letter. This is also dependent on the age grade of the kids as well.
