Generation X, Y, and Z are the commonly used labels for the cohorts of people born in different periods. While there are no hard and fast rules, the following are the comm, only accepted ranges for each generation; Gen X - People born between the early-to-mid 1960s. Gen Y also known as Millenials, are people born between the early-to-mid 1980s and late 1990s or early 2000s. Gen Z or iGen are people born between the late 1990s or early 2000s and the mid-to-late 2010s. I am a Gen X.

Generation is X is those born from 1965 to 1980. Generation Y also know as the millennials are born from 1981 to 1996. Generation Z is anyone born from 1997 to 2012. I am generation Y.
