I love debates. Role play but not when it’s reading lines but you give the students a prompt e.g you walk into a shop, and you buy something. What would you and the shopkeeper say. This is maybe for more advanced students as they have more vocab and better grammar. For beginners, role play reading the lines is better.
Each students pick a song that they feel represent an important moment or experience in their life and prepares a short explanation of why they chose it .
Literature and poetry are the best material

Start testI really enjoy having a free talk segment in my classes. During this time, my students can discuss current events, share their thoughts on anything they like, describe videos and pictures or even rephrase and summarise short texts. We can also play some relevant fun word games if they are interested.
Hi Nawal, the only thing that differs is the use of technology with online teaching. For me I get the same feeling when teaching online and offline. The best thing about online teaching is that you get to connect with people from all over the world.
I love playing role plays and games like "What am I?". This helps my students think and speak naturally in class.
I love talking to my students and making my students feel comfortable.
I like to include Role Plays,Picture Description, Two Truths and a Lie, Would you Rather ,and Debates.
I include a lot of discussions and debates as part of speaking practice as students have some freedom in speaking on specific topics. And it challenges them to think about the topic critically and then form sentences on it.
I love making Lessons fun and interactive! One of my favourite activities is role-playing, where students practise real-life situations like ordering food or making a phone call. It helps build confidence and vocabulary. I also Enjoy "FIND SOMEONE WHO", an icebreaker where students ask questions and learn about each other.
