It all really depends on the student and their goals, age and hobbies. Using daily life used phrases is incredibly helpful

I think your students' profile should be a proper guide than any advice here. Their goals and interests mostly will direct you to the relevant topics for them.
Topic 1 : why is English important to you ? Topic 2: Which country do you want to visit and why? Topic3 : why is education important to you? I think with flexible topics like this you a beginner can get in to his or her shoes with you for sure
It mainly depends on the interest of students. But topics like Food, holidays, vacations are for me some of the easier ones and the most helpful
Literally find any subject they are interested and get them talking about it. Ask questions... I like Pokemon. What's Pokemon? A game? What kind of game? Card game and computer game? Then let them keep talking. At the same time ask Mr Google What's pokemon, and take it from there.
Daily routine, personality, famous people, family, countries and capitals
You can speak with your beginner-level students about the following things: introduction and personal information, daily routine, hobby and free time, food and drinks, school, work.
I start by asking about the day, if its Monday I ask about the weekend and also about the weather. it helps students be comfortable before we start the lesson.
