You should say I dropped off the call because it is something that you already did, it is in the past. Drop- present time/tense dropped past time/tense

  • Hi there, if you wish to leave a call or no longer participate or engage in the call you would need to say, I need to hang up, or I need to go, I shall speak to you later.

  • Hello sweet heart,it depends if your still on call and about ending the call then you will say “I’m ending the call “ but if your reporting to someone what happened in the past then you’ll say “I ended the call”. I prefer you use “end” since it’s easier to remember.

  • This is a very good question!!! You have multiple phrases that would help in this situation example “I dropped off the call” because it is past tense you would change drop to dropped. “I left the call” works as well and “I hung up”

  • You can say 'I'm hanging up' or 'I am leaving the call'. Hope this helps!

  • You can say "I hung up the phone" "I ended the phone call".

  • Alright, Its simple. You can say. I hung up the phone. but it's actually a rude way to end a conversation with someone over the phone, especially when you are angry with the person you are speaking to at the other end of the phone (the proper way should be to politely drop the call after the discussion)
