Establish clear expectations, for behavior, academic performance, and classroom rules. Communicate these expectations to your students and consistently reinforce them. Creating a welcoming environment by making sure that the physical environment is welcoming and comfortable for students. Using positive reinforcement, Praise and recognize students when they exhibit positive behaviors, such as showing respect to others or making progress in their learning. Build relationships, develop a positive relationship with your students by showing genuine interest in their lives, listening to their concerns and encouraging them to participate in classroom discussions.

I use a combination of PPP, ESA and the 5 E's.

To have a positive environment,as a teacher, I should let my student express his/her thoughts in his/her way. I should also let my students feel that they can do the lessons on their own without pressuring them. Cracking jokes sometimes will also help lighten the mood of the learning environment.

Students should trust you, they should always feel valued and seen. Learning English can be challenging on its own so making mistakes is okay because that’s where we can improve
Learning a language should be as stress free as possible. Tutors should engage students in topics that interest them, and invite discussions that will allow students to learn vocabulary and phrases intuitively. Language learning can and should be fun and enlightening at the same time!

It is often believed that less is more and more is less but I will say it totally depends on the tutor and student relationship to a certain degree; because once there is understanding between the two, the tutor will be focused on helping students meet their goals even for less. But tutors with cheap lessons has it as a strategy to gain and retain more students, which is good.
