I believe playing video games is a great way of learning English, as the gamer will need and try to understand the language in order to be successful in the game. Especially games which involve making decisions, such as RPGs or the kind of games that studios like Telltale and Dontnod make.
Engaging in activities you enjoy doing in English, such as watching movies or TV shows, or reading books or articles that interest you, or practicing with native speakers through conversation exchange programs.

Use fun materials and tutors teaching method must be fun, relaxed and understandable
Watch English movies or Tv shows with English subtitles. There are many online language learning games that can make English fun and interactive. Read books in English. Engage in English-speaking activities.
There's really no one way, each student learns their own way, some referencing games, some cultural, even some just by talking to them, it's just finding your way and sticking to it!
Involve a lot of cultural references instead of just pure language.

Changing the environment to English
I'll explain that with 3 examples. First one: Consistent Second one: to be eager the last one: to be curious and learning always new things. If you have this three things, learning english will be easier. At the same time,you can take your english level to higher levels with practicising,reading and listening.
