i use personification, which means I ask them to write about themselves using some character's situation from a text we have read previously.

Start with the basics, use a variety of resources (books, magazines), practice regularly, set achievable goals, find a language exchange partner, and be patient. Read a lot, keep a journal, and get feedback.
Choose a book, make flash cards, learn those cards and practice the writing of those words. This helps with word recognition, letter formation and gross motor skills and also practices writing
Write little essays on set topics and get a teacher to analyse.
First of all, when you want to practice writing, make sure you know the correct spelling. In order to achieve this,ensure you read alot,mark the vocabularies and if possible try to know their meaning. After that,pick up your pen and a book,try to write what you read and make sure you correct the mistakes. I mean where you didn't write correctly. Do it as many times as you can.
Students are scared of writing since they think its something out of this world but actually it is what they already have in their mind, just the thing is they should be encouraged to pour them out.Brainstorming is needed Indeed.
