I would say the best subject lies in the interests or hobbies of the student. You as a teacher can adjust, interact actively and make interesting any particular subject that is a students' favorite but a student would find it difficult to have you engaged in something that is not of interest to you.
Depending on the students age, interests and goals for learning, THE BEST can change. However, I found teen-related topics of utmost interest and importance for teens: 1. Teen's appearance and lifestyle 2. Age gap in dating 3. Parents' and teens issues
I think my best subject or topic as a teacher could not be relevant to what a student wants to learn. So I think it's best that a teacher gets to know the student and talk about things what the student are interested in.
I absolutely love teaching conversational English lessons. I'm often in awe when my students introduce their own topics. We discuss a wide range of subjects ,exploring anything and everything!. Through conversations we not only learn, but get exposed to new ideas ,perspectives and experiences. The key is to understand their culture and societal norms, ensuring no boundaries are crossed.
