Hello, My name is Ridwan, and I'm a certified TEFL teacher with 5 years of experience teaching all levels, from beginner to advanced. I hold a third-level certificate in Arabic and have experience teaching Arab business professionals. I also tutor kids aged 6–15. I have four years of experience helping university-level medical students prepare for exams. I am currently pursing a bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences. During my leisure time, I love traveling, meeting new people, discovering new places, and trying out different cuisines. With me as your teacher, learning English will be fun and enjoyable.
I am TEFL and preply certified with five years of online teaching experience. I teach business and conversational English to both adults and kids respectively, but I will work closely with you on developing an understanding of grammar, pronunciation, and general English.
I mainly use TPR, P.P.P and eclecticism in my teaching methodology.
There are three things to expect from our session:
1. We are going to have fun. I have studied Arabic and French. so I understand how difficult it is to study a new language, but it is always important to have fun.
2. We are going to work on improving your skills, so while we're in class, I will teach you, give you practice work, and correct your mistakes.
3. We will create a plan, remember! Attaining fluency needs careful planning. So I will devise an individual educational plan and tailor my approach to suit your needs.
I use P. P. P approach (Presentation Practice Production)
The presentation stage of the lesson is quite crucial as it naturally affects everything that follows. The idea is that the target language is presented logically and in context because if the students can recognise the language in context then they will have a better grasp of its function and will instinctively begin to use it appropriately.
The practice stage is all about ensuring that the students have understood the target language presented and can practice using it accurately. Most of the exercises you do in class, from gap-fills to matching sentence halves make up this stage and I will often let you do these exercises as a natural part of your lesson.
The production stage is the step where students go from being passive learners to active users.
I plan lessons that motivate my students to learn.
I teach in a fun and interactive way.
I use lots of gestures to convey meanings to my students.
