Hello! My name is Marissa, and I'm a teacher who is patient and will work with you through any lesson until we're sure you understand. We can learn at your pace, and get you fluent over time. I can teach you basic English/Chinese, advanced English/Chinese, travel English/Chinese, and many other topics. The pace depends on you and your dedication; you set the speed of your lessons with me! Your adventure in learning English or Chinese starts here! English Tutor I had one-on-one tutoring sessions with students struggling in English and writing. I also had experiences helping students who knew very little English as their second language. Chinese Tutor I teach children Chinese including listening, speaking, reading, and writing in big classes. The students find my classes interesting and attractive, so they enjoy all the learning process. I'm very patient as an instructor, and engaged with my students. Once I know what my students want to learn, we can go at their pace until they feel they know the material. I use a combination of immersion, repetition, lectures, TPR, activities, group work, presentations, and more. I usually tailor my lesson to the learning style of the student.
