A 28-year-old language enthusiast from Russia who’s always up for meeting new people and exploring the world. I love dancing, binge-watching series, and travelling to new places. I’m a proud animal lover, can eat limes like candy. And absolutely cannot live without cakes! Let’s make learning languages as fun as my cake obsession!
I’ve been tutoring languages online since 2014 and have worked as an English and Korean teacher at language centers in Russia. I also taught Russian as a foreign language to students from Arabic-speaking countries, China, Korea, France, and the U.S. at a Russian university for two years as part of a preparatory course. Currently, I’m teaching English in Thailand while helping students online prepare for Russian exams and learn Russian for travel. I have Bachelor’s in Linguistics (specialising in teaching foreign languages) and Master’s in Philology of Russian language. What is more, I obtained 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate and got a Diploma of professional retraining program in teaching Russian as a foreign language.
My lessons focus on building speaking confidence through real-life scenarios and personalized materials. I tailor each session to the student’s goals, whether for exams, travel, or conversation. I combine cultural insights, practical grammar, and regular feedback to ensure steady progress. My approach is interactive, engaging, and designed to make learning both effective and enjoyable. During the trial class, I always consult with the student, ask about their interests, the types of lessons they’d like, what to include, any teaching preferences, and I always request feedback. I believe in an approach where both the teacher and student are active participants in the learning process, rather than the teacher simply leading or dragging the student to learn.
