Do you have trouble expressing yourself in English? Do you want to speak English with confidence? Do you want to travel to different countries and work for big companies? I have conversational classes to give you the confidence to practice your skills and have real conversations in English.
I'm Maria and I am a Marketing and Communication graduate from Namibia. I'm also a Certified TEFL English teacher With over 4 years of experience in teaching English both online and offline, I've taught students from various parts of the World on Chinese and European platforms. I aim to help students reach their full potential and become confident speakers of English. Most of my students started with no knowledge of English but by the end of classes, they spoke eloquently on all levels of topics. I'm passionate about learning about different cultures worldwide, which helps me create an approach that builds a relationship with my students by making them feel comfortable.
I have been teaching English online and offline for the past 7 years. My focus has always been on conversational practice, as I believe the key reason students struggle with fluency is the lack of opportunities to speak English regularly in their daily lives.
Throughout the years, I’ve noticed that many students sign up for lessons primarily to practice speaking for various reasons—whether it’s to gain confidence, prepare for real-life conversations, or simply to use English more often.
I also hold certificates recognizing my consistency and success as a teacher, which reinforces my passion and dedication to helping students improve through meaningful, practical communication.
I have been teaching English online and offline for the past 7 years, and my teaching style is empathetic, engaging, and student-centered. I like to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable talking about their day, discussing topics of interest, and sharing their thoughts. This not only helps in making lessons enjoyable but also improves their grammar and expands their vocabulary naturally.
I believe that fluency comes from practice, so I encourage my students to speak as much as possible. When they make mistakes, I correct them gently and use those moments to teach them better structures or vocabulary. By maintaining an interesting and friendly conversation, students feel motivated to participate more, and this boosts their confidence.
This approach ensures that students learn through real-life conversations, which makes it easier for them to apply English in daily life.
