I'm Lucy, 29 from Bexley London. I have a BA Honours degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, level 5 Cambridge CELTA, and 120 hours TESOL certificate. I'm an author, I love writing short stories and poetry. I can speak fluent Turkish, I love to travel and I also crochet. I have taught privately in person and online via Skype and Microsoft Teams. I have worked at Westminster Adult Education Services for Westminster City Council and I have also worked for Kent County Council teaching at the adult education colleges. Learning English is not about always getting the grammar perfect! It's about learning how to use English like a native and being able to communicate and understand clearly. We do not naturally speak like robots, so why should we learn in such a systematic way? My lessons are engaging, focusing on getting the students talking around 90% of the time. I include all learning skills, reading, writing, speaking and listening in my lessons.
