Johanna Mayen

Hello everybody, my name's Johanna, but call me Joey. I'm from El Salvador and I'm currently studying Modern Languages at the University. Some of my hobbies are: reading, listening music, playing board games, learning languages and writing. I taught english beginner lessons at a private language academy as a tutor, and I'm currently teaching English to 11-14 year olds in a public school from my country. Also, I have an individual psychology diploma, and an english certificate. I really love to motivate the student to feel comfortable when I'm teaching and to enjoy his learning process. I don't want people to feel line learning is just difficult and it's like a burden, when it's totally the opposite: fun and enjoyable. Also, I ask the students what are their goals and what are their interests because it's easier to learn when it's something they love.
