Hi! 你好! This is Ivy, nice to meet you! I'm from Xinjiang, China. I studied and worked in Beijing for eight years. I'm currently teaching English to teenagers in the city of Guangzhou. I find languages really interesting and see the huge benefit in learning more than just one additional language. I'm able to speak Mongolian, Chinese and English, too. Apart from those three languages, I'm currently learning Spanish by myself and hope to master even more languages in the future. As a teacher, I'm enthusiastic, professional and patient. I honestly hope I get the chance to be your Mandarin tutor and guide you on this language learning journey. I look forward to challenging you and helping you unleash your true potential. In normal life, I'm an optimistic and outgoing person. My hobbies are running, watching movies, reading books, traveling, listening to music and art. I can't wait for us to meet and discuss some interesting topics together! I have two years of experience in teaching Chinese and English. The age of the students I teach ranges from 5 - 50 years old.My students come from all over the world, and their Chinese proficiency is different. I firmly believe that fun and motivation are two key aspects of learning a new language. So let me help guide you with a variety of easy-to-learn methods and styles. ? For adults, I'm confident in the use of "conversation" as an effective Chinese teaching method. In addition, creating different scenarios in which to practice dialogues, integrating your real-life situations to make learning a bit more practical. ?For kids, I'm well aware that they need to be intrigued and fascinated by what they're learning. So, depending on the age of your child, I'll make sure to prepare a number of interactive "games" . ?I usually have a chat/conversation with students in the first class, I try and evaluate their levels, in order to be best prepared for our future lessons together. ?And finally, I will give stage testing of learning results. Which will give you a clear understanding of where you still need to strengthen and where you have made significant progress.
