Hi! I’m teacher Nolo; a passionate and dedicated English teacher from South Africa. With a vibrant personality and a love for languages, I believe learning should be engaging and inspiring. In addition to teaching, I enjoy reading novels, exploring creative writing, playing sports, and practicing yoga and Pilates to maintain both mental and physical balance. I’m also deeply interested in integrating technology and innovative techniques into my lessons to create a dynamic and enjoyable learning experience. My goal is to help students unlock their potential while making the process fun and rewarding! I have over 5 years of teaching experience, starting as a student teacher in 2020 at a secondary school and transitioning into formal teaching in 2022. Since then, I have been teaching English First Additional Language (EFL) to primary school students, focusing on the core skills of Listening and Speaking, Reading and Viewing, Writing and Presenting, as well as Language Structures and Conventions. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Senior Phase and Further Education), which I obtained in 2023, and a TEFL certificate earned in 2022. These qualifications have equipped me with the tools to design effective, engaging lessons for diverse student needs. My lessons are tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, creating a personalized and supportive environment that fosters growth and confidence.
