My name is Oluwatoyin Elum and I am a Nigerian. I am married with children. I live in Lagos. I work as a french teacher in a school in Lagos.I love singing&dancing. I teach french language to different levels of learners. I have more than 15 years teaching experience on this field. Personally teaching french is a passion, I love to teach and see my learners realize their objectives of learning a foreign language. Learning french language with me as a foreign language can be with fun because I have learnt with experiences that learning any foreign language should be accompanied with technological supports or materials. I am a teacher with many talents such as singing and this I in turn put into my act of teaching french language to my learners. I teach children in the normal school settings and I take adults beginners in online school. This experience has really added to my teaching experience as a french teacher. I teach not only with educational materials but with passion as well. I have Nigerian Certificate of Education in french and social studies in 1996 this training is basically to prepared for would be teachers to fit well into the teaching profession. I got the training to be a french teacher in the Lagos State College of Education now Adeniran Ogunsanya college of Education between 1993 and 1996. In the year 2000 I got another certificate from Lagos State University Ojo precisely Bachelor in French Education.(BA. Ed) I have since then being teaching french language to primary, secondary and adults learners. To further my knowledge in the teaching of French I got my Masters degree in 2012 in the art of Teaching french as a foreign language from the University of Lagos. In the year 2018 I put in for another foreign certificate examination called Delf Dalf from the Alliance Française in Lagos with B2.Learning French language is a fun with me not only because I have the training but also because I enjoy teaching & I've had several seminars/workshop too. French language is a foreign language to many learners especially to learners from anglophone countries as such it should not be taught traditionally. This is why my students should look forward to a fun filled classroom environment. An interactive one. A place where the learners are at the centre of learning. I take my time to prepare my lesson very well with the age and level of my learners in mind. I prepare my lesson in such a way that lesson is taught from simple to complex, and and from concrete to abstract. This way of planning ones lesson enables the learners to learn easily and understanding better. I teach with enough learning tools to help bring out the best in my learners. My methods of teaching also depends of what is to be learnt and taught. With kids one should expect songs, poèmes, rhymes in the classroom all these activities makes learning fun and exciting for kids. With adults learners the style of teaching differs but the aims & purpose of learning will be realized
