Esra Ozcan

Hi, my name is Esra, and I'm originally from Konya. I am an English teacher with a passion for teaching and learning. In addition to teaching English, I am also skilled in teaching Turkish. I find it incredibly rewarding to help others improve their language skills and gain confidence in their ability to communicate effectively. In my free time, I enjoy exploring my interests in photography, literature, and music. I love capturing the beauty of the world around me through my camera lens, and I find inspiration in the works of great writers and musicians. I'm always eager to learn more about these subjects, and I'm constantly seeking out new sources of knowledge and inspiration. Overall, I am a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who is deeply committed to helping others succeed. My passion for learning extends beyond the classroom, and I believe that the pursuit of knowledge is one of the most important and fulfilling aspects of life. I've studied English Language Teaching at Gazi University. Then, I started to work with different age groups. Now, I've been working as an English instructor at KTO Karatay University in Konya. At the same time I've been working as a tutor on a global tutoring website named Gostudent for two years. Also, I'm currently studying master's degree in English Language Teaching at Necmettin Erbakan University. Moreover, I received a successful completion Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language certificate from TÖMER, Ankara University. As a tutor, my main goal is to create a welcoming and fun learning environment for my students. I teach various subjects and use technology like interactive whiteboards and online resources to make lessons interesting. Boosting students' confidence is important to me. I give them chances to practice and show what they've learned, always offering positive feedback and encouragement. This helps students feel good about themselves and stay motivated to learn. To ensure each student gets the support they need, I make personalized plans based on their unique learning styles. This way, I can provide the right guidance for them to reach their goals. In short, my tutoring approach focuses on creating a comfortable and enjoyable learning space, building confidence, and giving personalized attention. This helps students not only succeed in their studies but also enjoy the journey of learning.
