Hello there! I'm a native Chinese tutor coming from Hangzhou, China. With a Master's degree in Communication Arts, I've dedicated myself to teaching adults the Chinese language. I've been immersed in the world of teaching Chinese to speakers of foreign languages since 2010, catering to diverse groups like high school students and adults. My journey took me through local language schools in various regions, including New Delhi and Bangalore in India, Siemreap in Cambodia, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Presently, I'm serving as a teacher at an international school in Bangkok, Thailand. Throughout my teaching voyage, I've cultivated an interactive and effective teaching style. My core belief is that language learning should be an enjoyable pursuit, and I'm steadfast in creating a nurturing and enjoyable classroom environment. Equipped with certification to teach Chinese to speakers of foreign languages, I've undergone extensive training in contemporary teaching methodologies. My profound comprehension of the Chinese language and culture infuses vitality into my teaching, making the language come alive for my students. My teaching methodology finds its roots in the communicative approach, where real-life scenarios and practical language skills development take center stage. Additionally, I integrate elements of task-based language teaching, enabling students to apply the language within contextual settings.
