Felipe Edson

Hi there! My name is Felipe, I'm Brazilian, a medical student, a polyglot (I speak English, French, and Spanish), passionate about sociology/philosophy and the arts, and your English teacher. Since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, I've been teaching English online to countless students of different nationalities. I have also acted as a volunteer teacher throughout the pandemic, teaching/conducting dialogues on numerous topics for learners from different parts of the world, such as Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela, Indonesia, Mexico, Argentina, etc. Teaching is truly a passion for me, it allows me to share and eternalize moments and emotions. In my classes, as well as being professional with my students, you can expect attention, commitment, and care in every subject. I am very happy to follow and see the evolution of each student, who sometimes doesn't know how to say the first words, but with determination and discipline, starts to express themselves and nurture an unparalleled love for this new language. The best way to learn a new language is through exposure, repetition, and constant practice. With me, you'll see real, spoken English in practice. I have a conversational focus. In my classes, I use vocabulary building and question answering, with the use of teaching material in PowerPoint and/or PDF, as well as other active methodologies, and I focus on making you lose the fear of communicating. As well as fitting in with your musical and cultural tastes, my lessons are mostly in English. Perhaps, by now, you already have a general idea of the language, but you've never been motivated or trained in the right way to develop a skill/proficiency that will give you the confidence to start using your knowledge.
