Introducing the LiveXP Classroom features
- Lesson Notes. Jot down important details during your lesson or reinforce what happened in your previous sessions with Lesson Notes.
- Vocabulary. We understand the importance of remembering new words and phrases when learning a language! With the Vocabulary feature, you can save all the new words and phrases you come across during your 1-on-1 lessons!
- LiveXP Chat. Looking to communicate directly with your tutor during the active lesson? Simply type your message in the LiveXP Chat and receive real-time responses from your tutor!
- Files Section. The Files section allows you to easily drop necessary files to your tutor during your 1-on-1 sessions. After the lesson, all files are automatically saved in the LiveXP messenger, making it convenient for you to revisit them whenever you need to.
- Screen Sharing. Wanting to share something with your tutor during your lesson? Seamlessly do so using our screen sharing feature!
✔️Before entering the classroom
The LiveXP Classroom opens 15 minutes before the lesson starts. Join a bit earlier and make sure you are ready to smoothly dive into your lesson. Take a quick peek in our testing space at how your audio and video work – Audio and Video Settings
💻 How to Enter the Virtual Classroom?
From the website
1. Sign in from your laptop or desktop computer.
2. Click on "Join" in a toast notification that appears in the bottom left corner of your screen.
OR
Click on the "Lesson" icon in the top right corner of the screen and join the lesson from there.
From the app
1. Sign in from the LiveXP app.
2. Click on "Join lesson" in a toast notification that appears at the bottom of your screen.

Access the "My lessons" tab and press the green button on the relevant lesson to join it.

How do I send messages to a tutor during the active class?
Use the LiveXP Messenger located on the right side of your screen in the LiveXP Classroom.
How do I attach files, pictures and videos, send links?
To include images, links, or any other materials related to a particular lesson, access either the Lesson Notes or Files Section using the classroom toolbar.
Files uploaded in the Files section will be stored in the LiveXP Messenger. Anything uploaded through Lesson Notes will be conveniently saved in the corresponding lesson's details page.
Thus, you will have easy access to all your lesson materials whenever you need them.😉
NOTE: If you ever need to share files larger than 5 MB, here's a convenient solution: just create a Google Drive folder with "Anyone with the link can view" permissions and upload your files there. You can then share this link with your tutor in the chat. It's as simple as that!
How do I use 'Lesson Notes'?

How do I use 'Vocabulary'?
We know about the significance of retaining new vocabulary while mastering a new language! Our 'Vocabulary' feature enables you to save every new word and phrase encountered during your 1-1 lessons!
Vocabulary can be accessed through a special switch in the bottom-right corner of the classroom. You can also translate words and phrases right from the text in your Lesson Notes and add them to your Vocabulary with just one click.

I am experiencing technical issues with the classroom. What should I do?

☝🏻We also recommend making it a habit to join the lesson a bit early and test your connection. The classroom is available 15 minutes before the lesson starts, and we've prepared a testing space for your use.
Can I use a different platform for having lessons?
All lessons should initially take place on LiveXP. You may still resort to Zoom, Skype or Google Meet in case of some force-majeure, or when you encounter any issues that prevent you from having classes on LiveXP.
NOTE: It is not allowed to have lessons purchased at LiveXP platform on the other educational platforms (platforms offering similar services).
After a lesson, both the student and the tutor must pass the lesson confirmation step so we can know that the lesson took place and the tutor can get paid. After each lesson, the student and the tutor will see a pop-up window to confirm the lesson took place or/and, if necessary, report any issues.
