I am a language teacher with experience teaching Portuguese as a foreign language to children, teenagers, young adults, and adults in both online and in-person formats. A native Brazilian, I currently live in Ecuador, where I work at Universidad Católica de Cuenca. I am a Portuguese as a foreign language teacher with extensive experience teaching diverse audiences. Currently, I teach young adults at the language center of Universidad Católica de Cuenca and children and teenagers at Bell Academy in Ecuador. I have also taught Portuguese to refugees in Brazil from countries such as Syria, Yemen, Jordan, and Pakistan, as well as online to students of various nationalities. I am a postgraduate student in Linguistics and Portuguese Language Teaching for Foreigners, a student of English Language and Literature, and hold a degree in Graphic Design. Additionally, I have experience teaching art to children and teenagers, computer skills to teenagers and adults, and have intermediate proficiency in English (B1) and Spanish (B2). My Portuguese as a foreign language classes are interactive, practical, and fun, developed with an exclusive methodology that ensures accelerated and efficient learning. The materials used are created by me, bringing an updated and authentic Brazilian language experience. I specialize in Portuguese-Portuguese teaching methodologies (100% without translation), offering full immersion for students who prefer this approach. In each class, you will practice the four essential pillars of language learning: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Grammar will be learned in a light and intuitive way!
