My name is Karin and I am from South Africa. My hobbies include reading, writing, playing sport as keeping fit is perfect for the body and mind too and ofcourse gardening which has definite stress-busting benefits. I always make the time to get my hands in the soil. My background includes teaching students of all levels. I have both classroom experience as well as online. While teaching, I also talk about several topics, my classes are always fun and interesting. I truly believe that for a child their greatest benefit will be to be educated in a safe and protected environment full of the right type of compassion and understanding. I am patient and always compassionate towards people and connect well with those in the younger age groups. I identify well with them. I enjoy teaching because I want to continue sharing my knowledge and hope to create a future generation that understands the importance of education as well as the fundamentals of compassion in their daily lives. I am a TEFL /TOESOL qualified teacher and have been teaching English online for a period of two years as well as I have classroom teaching experience. I also have after school English lessons to school kids whom I assist with their home work and daily school tasks. My lesson and teaching styles vary however they are extremely simple, fun and Interactive. I also tend to use props and practice TPR to ensure that students are attentive and understanding each lesson as is been taught. I am able to prepare and deliver lessons to improve students' reading, writing, and conversing skills tailoring my teaching style in accordance with students needs. My experience allows for me to be able to interact with students at any level ...I am able to assist children or Business professionals with grammar, phoenetics, reading and listening, speaking and writing. I also use visual aids which I believe that helps students learn, understand and respond much efficiently. I have an excellent command of the English language and able to assist students visualise which makes all of the above mentioned exciting and interesting on a professional level. I aim at making myself available for lessons especially when the need arises.
