Hello everyone! I am excited to begin this journey of teaching Chinese for the first time, and I couldn't be happier about this opportunity! My goal is to engage you in a rich learning experience that allows you to discover the beauty and intricacies of the Chinese language. As an international university student from New Zealand, I bring a unique perspective to our tutoring sessions. I want you to know that English is also my second language, so I completely understand how challenging it can be to learn and accept new concepts in a different language environment. However, I believe we can overcome these challenges together! I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where we can learn from one another while exploring the language and culture. Let's collaborate and uplift each other throughout this learning adventure! I truly believe that education is not just about acquiring knowledge but also about fostering understanding and personal growth. Although I do not have any teaching experience yet, I am eager to take this first step. Please give me a chance to be trained, as I believe in my potential! I have already passed the IELTS exam with a score of 7. It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness. I intend to commence our instruction by addressing your Chinese pronunciation and introducing fundamental conversational vocabulary. Occasionally, I will incorporate popular Chinese terminology that is prevalent on the internet to facilitate your integration into the Chinese linguistic environment. My primary focus will be on essential daily dialogues, emphasizing comprehension of the content in each lesson. Rather than engaging with complex classical Chinese literature or ancient poetry, this strategy will inform the scope and progression of our future teachings.
