Hi! I'm Sofiia - a guide to the world of learning Polish! 🤍❤️ In addition to my passion for teaching foreign languages, I'm also interested in music, especially rock, and literature (my favorite genres are dystopia, horror, and crime). I study journalism and social communication at the University of Wrocław, specializing in Creative Writing, so I also have experience in writing articles, reports, and interviews for Polish publishers. Since I come from Ukraine, Polish is my fourth language. I perfectly understand the problems that Ukrainian and Russian speakers most often struggle with, because I myself have gone through various difficulties on the way from zero to B2+ level. Currently, I am happy to help people who are just starting to learn Polish to overcome various barriers and problems, and I am preparing for the C1 level exam myself! Join me and I will show you the beauty of the culture and language that Poland can boast of 😉. I tutored at an online English language school for children aged 5-14. I used an interactive platform, looking for an individual approach to each child, taking into account their interests and needs. I also took care of building good communication with parents. In my classes, I try to create a Polish-language environment right away – I turn on Polish videos and podcasts, read books in Polish with the student, and have conversations in Polish (if necessary, I translate everything into my native language, especially when explaining grammar rules). Thanks to such complete immersion in the language, the learning process is faster and more effective. I choose materials that are in line with the student's interests, but at the same time those that will help expand vocabulary and break the language barrier.
