I bring a unique blend of cultural perspective and passion for life to my professional endeavors. Outside of my career, I prioritize maintaining a healthy work-life balance through various activities that nourish my mind, body, and spirit.
In my free time, I enjoy swimming, practicing yoga, and trekking, which allow me to stay physically active while connecting with nature. I am also an avid reader, devouring books on a wide range of topics, from literature to personal development. Furthermore, I have a deep passion for travel, which has afforded me the opportunity to experience diverse cultures, broaden my perspectives, and forge meaningful connections with people from around the world.
As a seasoned language instructor with a strong educational background, I have had the privilege of teaching English and Spanish to diverse groups of students from around the world. My teaching experience spans various online platforms, including Amazing Talker, Preply, and the British Council.
My expertise includes teaching English to students of all ages and proficiency levels, from young learners to adults, as well as preparing students for international exams like IELTS. I have been doing so for over 10 years now.
To continually enhance my teaching skills and stay updated on best practices, I have participated in various training sessions and conferences. These include the TEYL Certification at Novakid, the Exploring the World of English Language Teaching course by Cambridge Assessment English, and the Postgraduate Course on Inclusive and Effective Teaching Theory and Practice at UCA.
As a seasoned language instructor, I have developed a dynamic and effective teaching approach that caters to the diverse needs and learning styles of my students. My teaching methodology is rooted in a combination of student-centered, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and Flipped Classroom approaches.
By leveraging these methodologies, I create an immersive and interactive learning environment that fosters student engagement, autonomy, and collaboration. My student-centered approach prioritizes students' needs, interests, and learning styles, while CLIL integrates language and subject-matter instruction to promote a more holistic learning experience. The Flipped Classroom model enables students to take ownership of their learning, as they explore new concepts at home and engage in interactive activities and discussions during class time.
Through this blended approach, I strive to deliver high-quality instruction.
