Sharmaine Chetty

Hello students 🙋🏽‍♀️ I am Sharmaine Chetty a passionate educator from the coastal region in South Africa. I have a total of 8 + years of teaching experience, a 180 hour level 5 TEFL certificate, currently completing my degree in Education majoring in Language and Geography and I am an Assistant Teacher at a local school. After school hours and on weekends I am a local and online tutor on two other online platforms. I have tutored children from as little as 5 to 62 years of age, covering just the basics of English to the beginner level of reading and understanding. As well as business formal English. My classroom is Student centered! With a lot of communicative language teaching (CLT) and total physical response (TPR) techniques. I adapt my teaching to meet the pace and needs of each student and this has worked 99% of the time. During our lesson we will build on your communication skills, grammar, pronunciation, sentence structure and fluency in English.
