Hello! my name is Teacher Pretty, A little bit about myself “I am a 34-year-old mother of 2” from Zimbabwe but currently residing in South Africa (Cape Town). I work as a (VA) Virtual Assistant online since the Covid 19 pandemic. I can speak 4 languages that are Ndebele, English, Xhosa, and Zulu. I have a TEFL certificate and I also have a certificate in Reception Operations and Procedures, Medical Reception Skills Certificate, and a Customer Service certificate. I have experience in a few different industries but have more experience in the Hospitality Industry as a Hotel Receptionist/ Concierge. I love singing, dancing, writing, and watching movies. I volunteer as a teacher in one of our nearby Kindergartens and I love working with different people, I have learn`t to speak, read and write isiXhosa there because I love being around people. Where I work, I have kids from the age of 3 years and up. They I am also currently studying with Alison for a Diploma in Teaching Skills for Educators. I also volunteer at a Kindergarten close by. In my classroom, we will do, pronouns, verbs, grammar, adverbs, and more. We will use videos, voice records, and apps to have more fun with our lessons. I love talking and asking questions please don’t hesitate to do the same. In my classroom, it is ok to make mistakes, because, with that, we can learn from them and grow. I can speak 4 languages and I know how hard, it can be to learn another language. Whatever your goal maybe, we will achieve it together.
