I have many years of practice in correcting the language shortcomings of Ukrainian-speaking people learning to speak Polish. In my opinion, most of these mistakes in people from Ukraine are typical and result from different language structures, a different inflection, a different (sometimes) way of formulating thoughts. My role is to notice and point out each such mistake. I am precise and patient in this. I am not a philologist, but language is my passion, which I try to share with others. I am effective at it and I like it :) For example, we will talk about why we say "Polish language" and not "Polish language", that the "problem" is ... him, not her... This is a proposal for people who want to: - break through and start talking in Polish - check and improve their accent - improve the way they formulate sentences in Polish - talk about a topic of their choice - check if they would be understandable to a Pole at all - check what ...they still make mistakes in (this is important because Polish friends do not often say that they hear them - sometimes out of politeness, and sometimes out of ...laziness ;), because they have already learned what it was supposed to mean, so why should they make an effort and correct it for the ...nth time ;)) Besides, after the initial period (sometimes quick) of success in learning Polish, it is worth realizing that for Ukrainians the main problem is not understanding the language itself, but the later stage, when it is not easy to organize in your head how certain structures and dependencies work, which are simply a bit different. The key to success is only the automaticity of speaking.
