My name is Jerry and I'm 31 years old. I'm a certified ESL teacher with over 5 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelors in English. I'm an experienced ESL tutor currently working in N. Cyprus I have taught English as a second language in Japan for almost 5 years. I started teaching English online in 2019 and this has so far been a very beautiful experience. I really like meeting and talking with people in different parts of the world. I'm Bil . My personal ESL teaching style is influenced by my academic background and experience. I provide an enabling environment for rigorous thinking opportunities and challenge students to be their very best, even if it’s difficult. For me, teaching is a lot like coaching a sport. I want to help the students learn the drills and practice the skills that make up a great academic mind so that eventually they will no longer need me to be able to learn. I encourage a learner centered technic which gives more opportunity to the student to speak more. I do my very best to motivate and instill self confidence especially to beginner. I equally provide a space for error correction and peer feedback. In this way, I hope to build resilient learners.
